Taryn Returns to Sons of Anarchy

The future of Taryn Manning on Hawaii Five-O is unclear. The actress has reportedly been cast on that new CBS drama as Mary Ann McGarrett, but does not appear at all on the pilot.

However, the future of Manning on Sons of Anarchy is bright: sources confirm she’ll reprise the role of Cherry this fall.

Manning last appeared on Sons of Anarchy in November 2008.

During that episode, her character admitted to Gemma that her real name was Rita; she was still “sorta married;” and, oh yeah: she was wanted for grand theft and arson.

She then went on the run and hasn’t been heard from since. But Manning will appear on at least three episodes of season three of the show, which returns to FX this October. We can’t wait.

Personally, I can not wait! I’d love to see her and Kip ‘Half Sack’ Epps on the screen together. Also, can’t go wrong with Sons of Anarchy and Charlie Hunnam on screen together.

Taryn Manning On Melrose Place

Combining her love for music and acting Taryn Manning will be appearing as herself, a singer/songwriter, in the third episode of The CW’s Melrose Place airing Tuesday, September 22 (9:00/8:00c). She plays a singer whose music video is directed by aspiring filmmaker Jonah (Michael Rady).

Taryn in fact has been in the studio working on material for her upcoming solo album. With only two tracks completed, buzz is already starting to build as “So Talented”, the first song written for the album with producer Linney (Darkchild Entertainment) will be featured within the episode.

Aside from her solo efforts, Taryn is the lead singer of the band Boomkat, with her brother Kellin. The band released their sophomore album A Million Trillion Stars earlier this year and recently released their latest single, “Stomp”, co-written by Mike Elizondo (50 Cent, Gwen Stefani, Pink, Jay Z). – Anti Music
